- iPhone 8 and earlier, all models
- Samsung Galaxy S10 and earlier
- Most Samsung Galaxy A series (before A54)
- Devices manufactured for mainland China
- Carrier-locked devices
- Most budget-segment Android phones
Check your device yourself
iPhone: go to Settings → General → About. If you see "Available SIM" or "EID", your device supports eSIM. The same screen should show "Carrier Lock: No SIM restrictions".
Android: in Settings → Network & Internet → SIM cards, if you see an "Add eSIM" option, it's supported. Alternatively, dial *#06# — if an EID number appears, eSIM is supported.
